Re: New Springs with OEM damper?

I should have been a little more clear the Tein S were on my previous Civic 98 model and screwed up my shocks. They did handle nice but was a little soft for my liking My current Civic 99 model has OEM shocks/springs with both ARB 26mm front and 24mm rear, and they are amazing. However at high speed...

Re: New Springs with OEM damper?

Are there any stiffer/firm springs at the OEM height for our EJ9 Civic? I used to have Tein S springs they were good but wouldn't recommend this to anyone as they completely screwed up my shocks sagged. They did have a subtle drop which was nice but I was hoping to get some springs that will improve...

Re: Honda Prelude

The Prelude is a wonderful car, I drove this on track at Castle Combe 2.2 4ws vtec and it kept up with all the Type R and Hybrid Swaps. Its so mature in the way it feels, so refined and solid and its sad how underrated and over looked this car is. The prelude is cheap as chips these days but the onl...

Re: Overheating after BHP Increase

If and when I do take the parts off I will let you know first. At the moment I need to sell the parts under the sofa that are not fitted and then I can think about whats on the car. About the overflow issues it seems as long as i blast within gears 1,2 and 3 since the 1.3bar cap upgrade seems to be ...

Re: Overheating after BHP Increase

He stated that he leaned it out on part throttle but not enough to be dangerous, however this tuner in well know and really good at what he does, when car was at 155bhp the vtec was disabled at 5.5 psi. The vtec is now active and set to 6 psi at 180bhp at this point Im thinking that i may be beating...

Re: Overheating after BHP Increase

As I said i will be keeping the car as long as I can and put money on the side while doing so if fix this then I'm keeping this car for sure. Your s...

Re: Overheating after BHP Increase

I am going to keep the car however long I can (and drive it safely) and put money aside that I would have spent towards this Civic but save it towards another car. Also I am going to try and gain back some money spent on new and rarely used part that I have laying around the house. When i have enoug...
