Re: Oil Leak from intake tube
I've checked it again and it is BKR6E - 11 indeed. The only difference is that they are made in France. Right now on third cylinder I've put a used NGK, made in Japan. However I am considering a new set for install asap. About the oil leakage in the intake maybe its from the mistake i made by puttin...

Re: Oil Leak from intake tube
Are there any carbon deposits on cylinder 3 piston? OR maybe just faulty compression test for cylinder 3. What type of black colour is the spark plug on cylinder 3? Oily or with carbon deposits? Photos from spark plugs will help for diagnosis. Cant't really say if there are carbon deposits inside t...

Re: Oil Leak from intake tube
Great article! The test was dry indeed. I've checked the distributing cables and they are OK. If the problem is running rich on third cylinder isn't it more likely to loose compression due to wash of the oil and low lubrication etc?? It seems very possible that oil is leaking in the cylinder..the sp...

Re: Oil Leak from intake tube
Betek, this doesn't sound good at all :? I don't remember the car needing additional oil between services. However i have previously made one mistake by putting too much oil in the engine (3,75l) and this caused oil leak from the bottom of engine. When the oil reached optimal quantity loosing oil st...

Re: Oil Laek from intake tube
I have replaced the oil during the weekend and had the chance to look more into the oil leak problem. However i did not open to check the PCV valve because it would have cost me a lot of time. My mechanics once again said that the oil vapor and oil coating in the intake seems normal. I am not so sur...

Re: Oil Laek from intake tube

On the other hand i dont think i am loosing much oil between changes..however there is a small regular leak from head cover, wich isn't uncommen.
