Re: EK9 exhaust
Got one laying around, will check this weekend. From what I remember the triangle stands out a few mm from normal dimensions. Either put a bigger flange on the midpipe, cut out the original flange or use very tiny and vulnerable bolts... this is why some aftermarket triangles don't have round holes...

Re: D16Z6 IM swap on my EJ9 from 97
I've short circuited the RACV with a hose and 2 clamps. (BETEK : What is your setup ? Where did you connect the RACV ?) Also, I bolted the last IM bolt (painful, but done :D). All hoses are well fitted / clamped. Then I started it, idle at 1800rpm, all normal. Then it begin to warm and the rpm drop...

Re: EK9 exhaust
as far as i know the ek9 resonators are more advanced and oriented to performance in contrast to other oem honda ones. Still I would bet that the buddy club is more for performance, the question is how much more. Exhaust diameters play also significant role. Exhaust diameter of the BC is 2,5'' EK9 ...

Re: D16Z6 IM swap on my EJ9 from 97
Hi, I've juste done the IM swap on my EJ9 with a D16Z6 IM... - I did not find a way to bolt the 12mm bolt under the middle of the IM (I'll fix that tomorrow, maybe I'll drill a bigger hole in the center of theIM) - When I first strated it : no error code (yihaa :D), idle at 2000rpm, very stable ! -...

Re: EK9 exhaust
Nice topic!
I'm planning to buy an EK9 catback for my car. On this moment i have a BuddyClub Pro Spec but, its a little to loud for an 1.4 i think.
But how is the performance BC vs. EK9?
