Re: How high can it revved stock?
I think 7600/7700 is the max you should do on stock valves etc. I run 8100 on Skunk valves/retainers/cam. With lighter pistons/stronger rods I would like to get 9k though I am not convinced that I get it flowing at these rpms. Need high rev cam specs for that and that is not easy on cams with only V...

Re: the max hp d14a3 build thread :)
Just keep boost to 0.4 ~ 0.5 bar and you'd be safe. However learning about boost and working on the Jamex Turbo Civic this year learned me the following... hardly nobody uses boost controllers it seems! Most people simply take turbo with waste gate and some spring and let the vacuum to the controlli...

Re: A/F values at WOT ?
It's the latter... there is a lot to gain, especially when ignition timing is involved as well. It still depends, but with some setups I've seen over 10 hp after proper ECU tuning.

Re: TPS wiring
As a basic rule, the green wires (with a coloured stripe) are ground. The yellow wires (with another coloured stripe) are 5V and the other wire, usually red with a stripe or full white in the older OBD1's is signal. Both same for TPS and MAP, though wiring order at the sensor position is different. ...

Re: A/F values at WOT ?
Hey Nick, thnx for the heads up PM. Sorry I've been reading so little around here, but sending a PM is defintively the way to get me reading (may there be some other topic somewhere, let me know). First of all you are heading in the right direction Nick. From my experience with the B16B and some 3li...

Re: Bernoulli's principle
Hard to say and I do not know the EK9 kit by heart (link for lazy me?). However generally I only think any real performance comes from the full rear filling diffusors that nicely stroke with the stock underbody of our cars and otherwise... I guess all the rest is just for looks. Maybe some very unno...

Re: Bernoulli's principle
Silly answer would be not... if not talking carburator which utilises this principle. My video is much more useful for explaining ground effect with a good diffusor. Note however, don't misstake my 1D venturi to look like a car with front scoop, large sideskirts and diffusor, flows beneath cars are ...
