Re: General discussion about exhausts

A the midpipe. As long as you don't go overboard with the diameter I expect no big differences there. The stock D14 can be very small, but I expect the Del Sol to be similar or slightly bigger, not hampering performance in an obvious way I'd say.

Re: General discussion about exhausts

B-pipe as in second part of the exhaust header? I believe that is all very similar including catalytic converter. Only exception is EK9 which has larger diameter flange and catalytic converter.

Furthermore, the D16Z6 exhaust header by itself is a very good upgrade in my opinion.

Re: d14a4 idle problem

I am a bit at a loss for this power loss you experience. Though I have had similar issues in the past, especially with the B16B and a D16Y7 turbo I'd driven. I remember it felt like the complete O2 partial throttle feedback loop was at error. Whether it was mapping too far of (which is a thing for y...

Re: The board is being updated!

Updated board to latest version, if release notes are correct it should be much easier now to do a password reset. (It had white font on white background making stuff invisible...)

Re: ek9 suspension

I found a guy who compared the weights of swaps and if I remember correct its about 42-43 kg going from practically any D to B including everything. On my EJ6 this seemed about right. I'll post the link here if I can find it again but I came up empty handed doing a google search. This guy literally ...

Re: Chassis Reinforcement

I currently have no front strutbar and stock front swaybar in my EJ6 with the (40 kg heavier B-series) and it handles likes a soggy towel. Reason there is still no bar is ABS module that does not mix well with the ones lying around and still too lazy to search for a proper one / relocate ABS stuff. ...

Re: Weak sparks, or no sparks

Double and even tripple check wiring is my first hunch. This year someone around here had similar issues. Spent weeks debugging the car and I had looked at it one day as well. Eventually he found 2 wires being swapped including the 12V. In the meantime I try to think of any other things that could b...

Re: Weak sparks, or no sparks

Hey man, welcome to the board! You're the first real active member in a looong time I can tell. But good news since I am revamping the DU website this year. Fortunately you provided the answer yourself I guess. G101 definitely has to be there, 100%. Even bad connections on G101 are very well known t...
