Ep3/ep2 steering wheel to civic ej9
Recently I purchased an ep2 civic sport edition steering wheel which is identical to the ep3 one and only lacks the red badge. Its diameter is considerably less (the fn2 is smaller though) which makes driving more fun and gives better feeling on the steering rack. The steering is better in feeling, ...

Re: d14a4 idle problem
A similar problem with my d14a4 for the last months. After I accelerate full throttle for some time I notice that after that the car idles to 1000rpms and you have to wait for 1 minute or so to reach the normal 740rpm idle. If i overdo it reaching top speeds and accelerate again for some time when i...

Re: Specifications of stock Ecus and electronics
Not an expert in ecu tuning but I was really wondering whether there is a fuel cut off option in our ecus. I mean when you don't hit the gas pedal while driving (in a downhill let's say) the consumption is zero like the new cars or not? Also, if we tune the ecu (obd1) can we change the time the ecu ...

Re: D14 with D16Z6 gearbox
I have installed a d16y2 gearbox from a ma series civic (the english 5d version) as the d14a8 i used to run had become very noisy. This gearbox is identical to d16z6 one, some ratios and construction so I believe it is an s20 one. This is how it accelerates in an ek civic I found on the web https://...

Re: D16Z6 clutch vs D14 clutch
After having swapped an exedy d16 clutch and fidanza flywheel I can verify that its bigger size does make a difference in the feel and performance of the clutch. Much stronger and more positive in fast gear changes. Also there is a grab on 3rd gear too. It doesn't slip like it used to in 2nd gear ch...

Re: High performance summer tyres
After having spent 60.000km with the dunlops and still having a decent performance I moved on to the next tyres and so I decided to buy some Continentals (premium contact 5). http://www.oponeo.pl/gfx/Articles/continental-ContiPremiumContact-5.jpg http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyre/Continental/Premium...
