Re: Dropping idle
I don't think that the problem is the catalyst because the problem would be constant. But the dropping idle problem occurs sometimes and not always as it would be with the catalyst. The car has little more consumption of fuel compared to the past. Also I measured the ignition coil and it is slightly...

Re: Dropping idle
I think the problem with the but idle is the ignition coil. I recently had MOT inspection and the car pass the emission control hard at high revs fume test. Compared the numbers with previous MOT test this was worse. Then the previous test was worse from the pre-previous. I think that year by year t...

Re: Steering feedback-Caster angle
Nothing. I did it myself.
I just changed sides of front upper control arms.
It is easy job.
You just need pliers, hammer, jack and 10mm, 14mm, 17mm wrenches.
Optional will be good to have ball joint remover

Steering feedback-Caster angle
With swapping sides the front upper control arms, feedback from steering wheel is increasing. Because the caster angle became more. Also one other advantage on ej9 is that the returning of steering wheel in straight line is more quickly than stock setting. I did the swapping recently and so far I li...

Re: Post your mileage
if you have 0.5L consumption every 25000 Km it is absolutely normal and that means your engine is in very good condition!

Re: A d14 vtec
D14 belt you must use

Re: D14 stroke ??
From d16 you can't use rods and crankshaft.
But from some d15s it is possible to use crankshaft (the ones that have same block bearings with d14s) and rods
