Re: Oil pressure gauge installation!
Use a T at your engine's oil pressure sender and plug the new one with the stock. or you can use the sandwich plate. they are all around ebay etc for use with turbo oil lines

Re: D14 strength, D14 + Turbo + Vtec crazy?
Yes vitara piston are a direct fit but it yields too low comp ratio because of the comp height and the dish volume. You may need to do some altering with the block or head. Or you can go for forged pistons for d16a6 which has same comp height with d14 pistons. The stock engine is good for max 200-22...

Re: Piston and rod size of the D14A3/A4/Z1/Z2
Why go D15B crank? Get the crower D13B2 rods. Actually i didn't know such a forged rod existed. I think d13b2 rods are a better and easier solution (They seem to be a direct fit). The d16 rods could take more than the d13b2 rods due to the bigger big end size but with the d13b2 you don't loose the ...

According to my previous research Engine / Rod bearing size / Crank bearing size / Rod length d14 / 43 or 41 / 45 / 137 or 138 d15 / 43 / 45 / 134 jdm d15b / 45 / 45 / 137 d16 / 45 / 48 / 137 or means im not sure which one. not like more than one option According to this data d15b crank fits our eng...

Re: Sebastix D14Z1 dyno history
very impressive, how much boost can these engines safely take? i have been running in excess of 0.6bar for the past 4 years on a d14z2 and have run upto 0.8bar. Still no problem with the compression etc. So they can take it quite well. Stock honda pistons tend to crack at the ring lands in excess o...

Re: Aftermarket Flywheels
afaik the jdm d15b crank journals are the same size as all d15s and d14s 45mm and have the same rod bearings size of 45mm as d16s. So it's a means to get forged con rods. I may be wrong on this but this is some data i came across a few years ago. And i have a friend in Hungary who put a d15b2 crank ...

Re: Aftermarket Flywheels
Hi! This is my first post here.
Do you guys know if all d series flywheels are interchangeable or not?
I'm doing my research on putting a d15b crank in a d14z2 and want to be sure if i need a different flywheel
