Re: Mini-me Swap - Need Help
Sohc vtec engines have never been imported to my country but only 5-6 cylinder heads have entered upto now. The head i own was owned by some guy who had it only for two weeks. I guess i was either scammed or the guy had no clue about the head because it doesn't have the vtec stopper/girdle on the va...

Mini-me Swap - Need Help
Hi guys, i've ran into a problem and this will be quite difficult to explain for me but here it goes... I am using a d16z6 head on my d14z2 for my mini-me setup. Last month i've started with doing the obd1 conversion first. I used a p06 converted to p28 from xenocron. As my car is obd2b i didn't nee...

Cylinder Head Gasket
When using a d16z6 head on a d14z2 block which head gasket has to be used?
The oem number for d14z2 is: 12251-p2j-004
The oem number for d16z6 is: 12251-p08-004
or are these gaskets the same?

Re: eCtune D14 mini-me example files
in the ignition map why is the idle region around 26,5 degrees? Is this due to using a different distributor which doesn't line up properly with the head? Afaik for a d14 the timing should be in range of 12+-2. In my rom it's set to 14 degrees and my distributor is also at 14 degrees. Can someone w...

Re: Timing Belt
The d14 crankshaft main bearing sizes and deck heights are different than d16s but are the same with d15s. So you can use d15 internals. d16 internals require massive machinig to fit and then the deck height would be a problem

Re: i want tuning system for OBD2B
That webpage shows how to chip obd2 ecus but it doesn't tell you how to reprogram the chip itself. Is there any software out there to program ob2b ECU maps that i don't know of?

Re: Heeellpppp
If you remove the 27 mm gasket and place the bigger one, the manifold pressure would change. 27mm is so small that the 75hp engine's manifold may not see close to atmospheric pressures at WOT like 90hp version does, atleast it would have a lower value. So in a 75hp engine with the bigger gasket, the...
