Re: non power steering
Sounds like a good compromise solution, leave the reservoir in place but remove the pump. I'll let you know next week wether it works, or not!

non power steering
Anybody have any experience of manual racks? Or just removing the power steering pump and using the existing rack unassisted? Early Civics and Honda engined Rovers are becoming the weapon of choice for oval dirt track racing in the UK. The strategy they employ is to put the steering on full lock to ...

Re: D14A3/A4 versus D14A8
Still trying to find the time to finish my D14 motor, 99% complete Hot news I've just acquired a low mileage D13B2 complete engine - 75 x 76 should rev freely. Even better if I can find 76mm pistons, should give a perfectly square 1380cc . Anybody know if it's possible?

Re: erratic overheating
Running a constant fan will only make the symptoms go away but will not cure the illness, trust me I'm a doctor. :geek: Head gasket problems and other sealing issues don't always result in mayonnaise in the cam cover: Remember that the gasket has to keep apart oil, water and compression/induction va...

Re: erratic overheating
Hi Tom. Hate to be the prophet of doom but it sounds to me very like pressurisation of the water jacket. Air enters the cooling system creating air pockets which prevents water circulation. Hi. The thread regarding basic LPG strategies is in the fuels & oils section. I keep promising to post more specific info regarding Hondas. Too much time pressure in the fight for the legal tender.

Re: LPG
Try ebay uk item 110772866587. Injectors come in banks of 2/3/4, mix and match for ease of installation. 2 of this item is probably neater fix on manifold.

Valtek injectors are 3 ohms 12 volts. They are widely available, cheap and can be serviced.

Re: LPG
Cool logic. I'll get some specs for resistance/volts etc for different injectors. I know that the widely available and cheap valtek rails are 3 ohms but I'm guessing 5 volts. I'll check.

Re: Rain/Water leaking into boot.
Hi Joris. Does your car have a sunroof? A classic cause of water ingress into the passenger/driver footwell is blocked/perished roof drains. Also check the condtion of the bodyshell around the windscreen, my car has corrosion issues in the steel above the screen.
