Re: LPG
I have the possibility of buying a multipoint injection system for my new engine build, I will attempt to post a build thread over the coming weeks. Still having problems with posting photos, can somebody point me in the right direction.

Re: Accident!
Hard luck bro, I trust there were no injuries. We'll keep our fingers crossed that it's a replaceable part.

Re: D14A3/A4 versus D14A8
If I can get past 130bhp without spending big cash then I will have succeeded in my original goal. For me this is not about ultimate performance but it is about developing my knowledge and skills, I love my Honda and can't think of a better car to try and develop.

Re: LPG
As to tuning for variable fuel qualities then surely knock sensors do that job. With the D14/15/16's that we all love remember that they were all built before the whole emmisions bandwagon got the present momentum. Consequently we still have distributors that need setting by strobe. 7th generation c...

Re: LPG
I already know what the better fuel is, but you shouldn't trust my judgement when I get it for free. :D It must be said, however, that the quality of propane in the UK is strictly controlled. No matter whether you buy it for domestic heating, industrial processes, or auto use, it is one and the same...

Re: LPG
You've ignited my curiosity about using methanol as a vehicle fuel. You're right it is or has been widely used. Usually as a blend and it's popularity comes and goes with comparitive price fluctuation. If you do some research into it's toxicity I think you'll agree that it should be avoided in any q...

Re: LPG
It's the age old paradox: When you're young and full of enthusiasm you have neither time or money, by the time you're my age you have time and money but can't remember what you needed them for. :? The research into multifuel engines sounds interesting but I can't see enough of a practical applicatio...

Could you post that one to me? I'll post a photo of what mine look like at the weekend.

Re: LPG
Your grasp of the physics and it's practical application can't be faulted. Some points I will make: 1. You've asked and answered your own question on propane, with every LPG strategy commonly employed the liquid is converted to a vapour before injection/induction. The vapouriser utilising the engine...

Hi Betek. I know that civics with 300+ BHP do exist but they are like golden eagles; very rare, hard to find and I aint never seen one in the wild! Thanks for the info on valve sizes, it contradicts my research but I will take my hat off to your greater knowledge.
