Re: Cooling and Warm up
that aside, coolant cannot flow through both radiators until it is at the point where the thermostat valve is rated to open. let's say that point is 80*C. because of you turning your heater on, let's say coolant is at 60*C. the thermostat won't open at all and only the mini radiator will be active....

Re: Cooling and Warm up
007 I see agree with what you're saying but Betek is correct in saying that if coolant has to go through heater core "mini radiator" AND main radiator then engine will have an issue getting to temperature. If coolant only goes through "mini" radiator (thermostat closed) then it s...

Re: Cooling and Warm up
Yep this is all very true, however it shouldn't be this bad. I can watch the needle drop as soon as I put the blower fans on which isn't the way it should be. I have to drive behind lorries to get the car warmed up with heating on, I will take the thermostat out and replace it. If it doesn't help th...

Re: Cold Air Intakes, Airboxes and Scoops
Hmm EK3 system, what does that look like? Anyone got a picture? I was thinking about fitting an OEM inlet system to my D16 IM for a more understated look. Also some of the OEM one's are like factory CAI's anyway!

Re: 1996 - 1998 Brake Upgrade
Will I need the 14in wheels for the 262 brakes? Or can I stay with 13in?
