Re: Hybrid gearboxes. In search of the perfect gear ratios.

Dodo, probably the gearboxes are compatible. Since chutch is hidraulic, and D16 Shortblock is the same, difference might be only in the shift linkages.

Will try to find out.

Re: Hybrid gearboxes. In search of the perfect gear ratios.

My D14A2 original gearbox was exactly like D14A8 gearbox, so I had the same relations you have in your gearbox Saxophonias. My ISB had worn out, like most S20/S40 old gearboxes, so I bought one S20 from EH9 ESi Civic. My FD is 4.250, and my 4th gear is longer than D14A8 gearbox. Will upload a progra...

Re: ASR swaybar kit

Excelent feedback, didn't knew EK4 front swaybar was 26mm. I need to upgrade this, as I have huge body role, even with Koni Sport shocks and springs.

Ok, maybe not huge, but much more than I want it to be

Re: EK9 body kit

I don't know about Netherlands, but here in Portugal some roads are pretty messed up. Some street parking lots have very bad layouts. The shopping center in which I work, the offway ramp climbs up, to descend after that, in the middle my exhaust line gets in touch with the floor  Also, some...

Re: EK9 body kit

Not in my car, but yes. A friend of mine has an EJ8 Coupe, and with front lip installed, cornering at high speed has become very handy. Top speed has decreased, it is more difficult for him to reach fuel cut in 5th gear. Car is equiped with B16A2 engine, swapped. Personally I consider front lips mor...

Re: EK9 body kit

A friend of mine had the EK9 rear wing on his EK4, he said that in one place where once he reached 230Km/h, he could only reach 220 now. Not every aerodynamics breakdown is a security raiser, but since wing was wind tunnel tested, its a proof of how it improves rear downforce. Front lip also helps b...
