Re: Obd2 to Obd1
About whether-sensitivity: have the same for each OBD. Some things like inlet temperature are better measured since the OBD2 measurement is done by a different sensor on a different location, more to the front in the inlet tube, giving it faster reaction times. But with using an OBD1 ECU you can sti...

Re: Cams for D14
I have to dig deeper in this project (low on time since I am in between races and other stuff, will tell results in a minute). But there is one way to increase torque dramatically, that is with CR. Just make sure it doesn't detonate or anything and your good. For myself I believe getting high CR pis...

Re: PO6 --> P28
Nice post! I never bothered going into details since CRX2 helps me out with it, but really nice overview.

Re: Problem with immobiliser
I am afraid the sending unit is dying slowly on your car or so, just guessing.

Re: Cams for D14
Have to invite somebody... damn forgot about him. I just ran through my hotmails, but anyway. Overhere a guy nicked 'Sebastix' was able to reach 130 bhp on stock D14 cam! It was with very well designed ITB's. He is the one I expect to beat me of the 145 bhp benchmark soon. That is because I sold him...

Re: The mini-me project. Head swap
Note: before doing the VTEC head swap you need the IM swap and OBD1 conversion! This is the biggest step of my (insane?) D14A3 project so far. It is based on the classic mini-me setup (D16Z6 head on D15B2/B7 block). Because I have a Civic City, I called this particular swap the City-me. This step f...

Re: Cams for D14
The head should actually be identical, it is the cam that probably makes all the diff. Curious how this cam actually runs... any dyno's of those?

Re: Problem with immobiliser
Not entirely, you have double immobilizer and one part still remains (but honestly I don't want to dig to deep into those things, don't want the wrong people to read/know it.)
I'm honestly quiet happy I still got part of the immobi.

Sorry for the hick-up today.
Today www.dodo-upgrades.nl was either not reachable or gave an no siteinstalled message. My provider suddenly had the nice idea to add an automated index.html to my web documents without notifying me. This file blocked my main page, being index.htm (notice the missing 'l'). All pages were normally r...
