Re: Datalog

ok ok i see, as for datalogging, the OEM O2 sensor is not accurate enough to give you the information to tune accurately. this one will tell you just if you're rich or lean but not how much. In my opinion a wideband is a MUST, like the zeixtronics or innovate. :geek:

Re: NOS projects

haha before i decided to swap for a high compression d16 i was seriously thinking about geting a ZEX nos kit from ebay, like 400€ shipped. thay told me that our d14 vtec's are good for a 50 shot safely with minor bolt on's. as far as HP gains, nos is the best bang for the buck you could ever get. of...

Re: Advantage VTEC D14

talking about the rods, pretty much anyone that has a bit of experience with d16Z6 engines know that it's rods are good for under 200 hp aplications (high comp n/a or mild turbo) , which for almost all of us using a daily drive car is way more than enough. for D series engines from around 88 till 96...

Re: The mini-me project. Head swap

Good luck! You will gain torque but loose revving with D16. Why do not swap only the head of d16 if it is vtec? hehe well i did this mini me swap in my d14A4 like 8 months a go and it's fun to drive, even tho i never tuned it (i'm sure it runs super rich). but i need more power and torque, and it w...

Re: The mini-me project. Head swap

hey dodo, long time no see... well i am pretty sure there's no adjusting screw in my throttle body, i've searched several hours and nothing. this winter the car has had some problems idling at start up, like 1000-900 rpms instead od 1500-1600... but well, you'll probably be dissapointed on me, cause...
