Re: Obd2 to Obd1
Don't go to CR 11 without 98 octane, that's all. I completely molested my D14 with CR 9.5. Only thing I put in there was 98 octane. Never has seen a detonation or anything. I always check plugs for that. So for your setup, you're safe. Just make sure the management puts enough fuel in there. Ah and ...

Re: Problem with immobiliser
Today my sponsor had a car that wouldn't start at all like you Polivias. Immo unit died probably. Replaced everything with another matching set and it worked again.

Re: Obd2 to Obd1
Yup not all Honda's have knock sensors. Mostly the Japanese cars have them. OBD1 or OBD2, both are capable of controlling knock. I experienced from very close by how an engine was blown having knock. Was a mini-me D15B2 with D16Y8 head I build. Normally they all use octane 95 and it goes well. I adv...

Re: Brake Swap
Front Integra pistons is 57mm if I am correctly informed. Normal 262mm Civic Calipers are 54. I changed my EJ1 front calipers in this way to get less oversteer during braking. High speed braking was tricky... needed each lap to go from 200 to 100 on a straight piece. Difficult enough. And it has a c...

Re: Personal experiences D2 and K-Sport
After 3 years I lowered the front end by 1.5cm, no problems encountered. First I cleaned all the thread, then I used a hammer and piece of metal to loosen the rings. Used a lot of WD40 together with de-greaser to change positions of the rings. Went nice and easy...

Re: To mini-me or not?
Sorry gents if I am not reading correctly. But are we talking about headswap on D14? Then do not use D16Z6 belt, use original D14 belt... this aint the D15B mini-me. Head design is the same while block is shorter of D14, so you need 103 teeth instead of 104. (D15B2/7 is 106!). And cam gear... over h...

Re: General discussion about exhauts
Hmmmm.... think header actually had a smallest 48mm part. Not sure if its only local at the cat flange or entire tube... at least original gasket can be used, which is 50mm inner diameter if I am correct. So tubing is < 50 there. Next time I place cat I try to see.

Re: General discussion about exhauts
I got 55 mm since 2002. We all know that I got enough power with that. Never changed for smaller. Have seen 50mm systems having a hard time getting to 100 bhp/litre, performance over 7000 rpm seemed bad.
