I may get my hands in some Weitec springs (6cm). Anyone know something about them? Cheers

Lowering 6cm it is to much for civics.
The reason is that the car suspension does not work correctly and trans-axles will been damaged in a very soon period, also the parts of suspension and steering column.
I suggest 4cm maximum lowering for civics 92-00.

for those who have lowered your cars around 3mm: do you drive on all tarmac roads in everyday life or do you go through dirt roads and roads with pot holes? your cars look nice on the pictures, but do they behave well on rough surface?

Cheers

Unfortunately at rough surface roads I wish I had the OEM suspension.
But if the road is good the cornering ability is better with lowered suspension

When lowered 4cm, dirt roads were not a real problem to my EJ9... but currently I think my cars are lowered around 6-10 cm (using aftermarket springs + dampers) and I'd really don't go on bad roads anymore.

Actually, yesterday I even used google streetview to plan my trip. Turned out I could safely take the coupe which has a lowest point of 3.5 cm. Being low has its price... on the other hand, my excuse is I DO use my cars for the track hehehe.

Well, for the biggest part our roads are amongst the best... except they put speedbumps everywhere! Its the speedbumps that I used streetview for :).
