I dont think so, dont recall mine ever being weighed. Need it for some calculations on the effect of fitting some springs and how low the car will sit. BETEK we need you!

Unfortunately I don't have any information about the corners weight of ej9s.

But I know the average weight for EJ9 with manual transmission is 1103 kilos and with auto transmission is 1128 kilos.
Of course the exact weight of each EJ9 can vary from average depends on equipment.
The EK4 (vti) has weight of 1195 kilos.

And the lightest version of ej9 3door without any conveniences is 970kg. My sedan let's say, with power steering and electric windows is claimed to be 1040kg and the weigh distribution if I remember right must be something around 60-40?

The weight distribution is what I really need, Must be somewhere between 55/45 and 65/35.

You reckon 60/40 is a good bet? Where Joris when you need him? I bet he has had at least one of his cars weighed!!

Hey guys,
alot of useful info on ej9 suspension but im in need of some info that you may know if you'v had the same problem as i do.
Im looking at a Spax suspension kit(i can get 25% off thru my work-this month only). The salesman i spoke to said i need to know the width where the bottom of the suspension attaches (clevis maybe????)
the kit im looking at says its for ej9/ek9, am i rite in saying it shud be a straightfit? I know nothing about suspension, Does anyone know the width/clevis on a 1999 ej9 ??

If anyone can help i will love you :D

hey bro,

you dont need to know the width - if the kit says its for ej9/ek9 then ask the sales man if it is the kit for the ej9/ek9

it should be staright fit though.

i didnt have experience in suspensions at all. so i went under the wheel and had a look..

its either a fork type at the rear or an eyelet type or even both ...

i suggest you to see the kit and how does it lookk like and match it with your suspensions?
ur buying suspensions right?

it might be fork at the rear and eyelet in the front - just double check 1st :)
as for width - which width of the suspension fork is he asking?

is he asking the width which is at the bottom end of the fork suspension that looks like an inverted U "where its sits on the arm"
Is he asking the width of the cylindrical suspension itself?
iam sorry i don't understand which width --- I have the suspension in the garage and i can get u the width but i dont know what are u asking !

is it the width of the arm where the fork suspension sits on - is that the width he asking about?
