At this topic we are going to discuss about bigger swaybars, both front and rear.
A very good upgrade for the front axle is the 26mm swaybar from an ek4 or ek9. If you have a front swaybar in your ej9 then it is very simple swap. Nothing to change there. You only need the swaybar, the bigger bushings and the end links. With these you will be ready to go!

I can't tell you the effects of the bigger swaybar itself as i installed front and rear both, which is something i recommend you as well.
The overall balance is very great, reduced body roll, and very responsive steering.
Something you should know is that by installing bigger swaybars you tend to reduce the independence of the suspension up to a point. Still the overall positive effects outweigh some theoretical drawbacks.

Always remember that bigger swaybars can give us the opportunity not to go too hard on spring rates and thus maintain an overall quality ride. Still the most important thing is to match the front with the rear, otherwise we will spoil the balance.

This is the 12-13mm oem swaybar of Civic Ek4 or Si models.

It's a straight swap for ej9 owners. You will need the bar, the d-brackets the bushings and the end links.

i've talked to them but they said it was very complicated to install

ej9s and ek3s don't have any problems installing them. The only issue is i think with MB series, due to their not having the proper LCA with holes for the end links to mount.

i would say to save some money and install good things once. Except if you find it almost for free

Just got a look under my car, 1996 EJ9 city, and i dont see any holes for the endlinks in the rear arms. Is that correct?

So when i would go for a swaybar i should purchase aftermarktet arms with a hole for the endlinks?

The holes should be there! Did you inspect properly? Post a photo if possible.
