well the good thing with this gearbox is that on highways u ll have less fuel consumption with standard 100- 110 speed cz of the shorter 4,5 gears the engine doesnt need too much "press" to raise rpm and u can keep more easy the standard speed that u want on a trip !!! my pocket got saved by this !!!

hi firebass, just to double/triple confirm specs of gearboxes before i buy one...
for a 1.4 ej9 3 door- i can use a gearbox from a 1.4 5 door of the same age(1996-2000) without any problems.correct?

to confirm a general info that i learn from this site all things from D series fit to any other D from headers and gearboxes to intake manifolds and cams !!!!
