little help (swap shorter gears or not?)

Post by Firebass »

hey guys i went today to ask for something a mechanic friend of saxo and he told me to put instead of the air induction as first thing the shorter gears, i dont know the exact word for that , i think u understand what i wanna say that , that i got long gears and if i put shorter it ll be better
but when i told that to a friend he told me NOT to do that cz later if i put ECU and manifold exhaust and camshaft i will regret that i changed to short geared
what u think ? shall i do it or not ?

Of course you should ! Unless you go turbo, or if you travel many kms in motorway, you wont regret soon. and for the gearbox price... its a must have !

Yes with shorter gears you will deffinately feel a bigger difference in acceleration. You would loose out on fuel economy though as law said.
