some years ago i unplugged the a/c by removing its belt. I noticed that every time i switch on the button the revs from 750 go to 1100 or even a bit higher. I think that the ecu gives signal for more advance as it thinks that the a/c is actually working right? I haven't tried to accelerate hard with the a/c button on. Do you think it will go faster? Is it good to do it?

I have tried in the past the same think in the past.
There is no difference but only in idle consumption.
But there is a little gain of moving the A/C belt (less resistance to engine) not from the switching on the button

i noticed that the engine revs smoothlier but i think i had read that they could see some hp more on dynos when they did that with the a/c button.
I have it like that (w/o the a/c belt) for 3 years now and only yesterday did i realise that by switching the button on, the revs on idle would be higher.

If you not use the A/C better to take it off from engine bay.
You can remove the compressor, the condenser, tubes and the A/C belt pulley they weight 15-20 kilos.
The gain will be for sure at cornering and some in acceleration

once i remember how much we paid it as an extra when buying this car from honda,deters me from doing so hehe
I will put in on one day, after having it serviced

If you think to use it, is strongly recommended to change the pag (oil that uses A/C)

does anyone know the specs of our stock p3x/y ecus? As for speed,processors etc.

2 pin - 26 and 22 (like OBD1 A and D)

processor - NEC UPD78214CW (UPD78214CW)
CW - mean 64 pin plastic body

8Bit

ROM - 16kb
RAM - 512bytes
Programm memory - 64 kB
Data memory - 1mb


Serial Intatface UART, CN2 ON Board

1 - GND
2 - RXD - Leg 44
3 - VDD - Leg 51 AVREF
4 - TXD - Leg 45
5 - none

RXD haven't in CN2

have IMMO based on
MSM65512A 8bit microcontroller
and another block IMMO in UNKNOWN place car...


Splitted Injector 1-4 2-3

P3X P3Y - not have VTEC output,
other ecu SFI maybe have VTEC output (a3,d12,d14 or d19 pinouts)

update 26.12.12
i find in left corner element's q39 and q42. it's look for powerfull transitor. it's maybe for switch on some solenoid's.
Q39 connectes with A17 (FanC)
Q42 connectes with A3 (Unknown connect) and with 10 leg over Q30 and some resistors.
