Hi every body) litle info.

big proflem after build D-Engine, it's configure fuel card. why? becouse you haven't stock BASE MAP. because u don't have binary file old D14A4 Fuelcard.
I find some ECU. it's 37820-P1J-EXX it's like OBD1 (yep u can chip it) and it ecu have 1.4 BASE MAP!

this ecu from MA8 or like it CIVIC. if somebody have stock BIN or have it's ECU tell me.

P1J best ECU for starting chip tuning in D14A4. But it's haven't VTEC switch.
but you need 240 cc injectors, and it have IMMO.

thanks for sharing. Is there a way to change the advance during the first minutes of engine function (until the engine gets warm) in order to reduce the fuel consumption of the first minutes, which by the way is very high?

of course) u Could up AFR in range 300-1500 RPM with <45-50 KPA (500mbar) to UP 15.5 15.9
see some table for example,

Image

*red line - torque
*blue line - economic
*left part more rich afr (low afr 10-13)
*right part lean afr (15-17)

Good info.
However anyone thinking of buying a p1j ecu to map it must be very careful as not all of them are mapable.
I could be wrong but there could be an obd2a p1j and a obd2b p1j

Not an expert in ecu tuning but I was really wondering whether there is a fuel cut off option in our ecus. I mean when you don't hit the gas pedal while driving (in a downhill let's say) the consumption is zero like the new cars or not?
Also, if we tune the ecu (obd1) can we change the time the ecu gives command for more fuel until the car is cold so as to drop fuel consumption?
