when i bought my coupé it came with a power systems power box. This type of box is used for atmospheric petrol engines with electronic fuel injection. The increase in power is achieved by optimising the injection time and advancing the ignition.
The box does not alter the original computer. It intercepts the signals the computer sends to the fuel system and optimises the length of the main injection.

Piggybacks sucks :)

Why?
A piggyback normally manipulates the MAP-signal and there by it not only manipulates the fuel table, but also the timing table...
Piggybacks are usefull when real chiptuning is not possible, or for very small corrections.

The old Apexi's with VTEC were bad ... They switched on to VTEC , but the ECU did not switch to VTEC...

The newer ones had a correction value.

Both Apexi's work by manipulating MAP..

if for minor tuning purposes, apexis will do the work for sure. Remapping and going obd1 will be better for sure and will give some more hp but i don't know whether it's worth doing that as it is very expensive.

Expensive?? I contacted this week with dealers moates.net and ectune.
they offered a $ 400 purchase different packages with neptune or ectune.

for <$ 250 can be found on ebay Apexi NEO V-afc 2. I think this would be enough to set VTEC and fuel cards for the first time, but it's my opinion. want to know yours.
