6th gen Civic had immo (Honda)

If you want to be sure, just instal an external immobiliser?

The case of external immobiliser won't be so easy i guess. Still, if you go obd1 you can make an external switch cutting the power to the starter. Hide this switch to a place you only know and there you are.

i continue and finish this theme myself

today i make little experiment, you know i have swap ECU (p28). and all time i think "i don't have IMMO now, because OBD1 p28 don't have IMMO".
but, i have my key with out chip from D14. and i couldn't start car with it.

Honda Civic VI have another block IMMO, not in ECU. when u swap ECU, u must use old D14 key.

Yes that's right! There is multiple blocks on the OBD2a models!

if u swap 6 gen to 6 gen - u need swap immo chip.
if u swap 5 gen to 6 gen - u don't need swap immo chip, because obd1 don't have IMMO on board ECU.
