Sensor Plugs

Post by lumpenst »

While doing a vtec head swap on a d14 some sensors or solenoids need new wiring to be added to the stock engine loom if you are not replacing it.

Where i live, the junkyards don't want to sell the plugs only but instead they want to sell the complete loom stating that the rest of the loom will be useless for them. Is there any company producing selling etc. the plugs for honda sensors, switches or solenoids that i can order online?

With the d16z6 head and intake manifold swap on a d14 i was short of these plugs below:
-2-wire IACV plug
-TA sensor plug
-Vtec solenoid plug
-Vtec pressure switch plug

Actually the 3 of these besides vtec solenoid plug are the same type of plugs

I always make sure I got a bunch of spare looms to cut connectors from. Unfortunately the VTEC connector is very popular and mostly cut out, but they are the same as single wire lambda connectors I believe...
