I cautiously start this topic.
I prepare for this... chancges. I already have a set of head D16Z6 + DIZZY + 4 jet's 240cc.

but in manuals of this site, Dodo said "you can leave the head D14, and replace only the ECU and JETS. but you need to change DIZZY"
He offers D15B7, TC, he fit the attachment to the D14.

So we'll see the difference 2 DIZZY D15 and D16.

recall model:

D15B7 - TD-41U (LEFT)
D16Z6 - TD-42U (RIGHT)

Image
back side - (up pic, i can't remove RED CIRCLE think.. it's part from broken ROTOR.
Image

As you can see, the ignition coil are the same (do not remember the model but they are the same T08A).
And everything else, too, seems the same. difference in the fixture, 3 feet. 120 degrees. or less.

if you look at the fasteners and DIZZY D14. see that DIZZY fixed on only two legs.

Image

draw the conclusion: => you can use DIZZY D15B7 and D16Z6 to swap OBD1 ;) <----- FAIL, SEE PICTURE IN TOPIC.

All parts are replaceable within the interaction. I checked it :P

ROTOR same ;)
IGNITION COIL same ;)
IGNITER UNIT same ;)
CAPS - same also

---------------
swap ijectors 190 to XXX
---------------

today i do'it.

i have 3 full complect of jets;

Image

1. i don't know... it's comming with Old IM PGMFI
2. i think D16z6, becose comming with IM from D16
3. Jets from D14 - stock)

i cut the wire and connect with audio auto jack.

differences:
I did not notice any difference, it took little time. I ride. subjectively when constantly pressed the pedal, fuel very quickly goes away.
But! during normal driving, the car seemed docile. no jerks in acceleration.

why I put the 240 to replace the ECU?

This is purely a theory, my. I may be wrong. tell.

there is a mixture of Air = Fuel. the replacement of IM, the air became more. My lambda sees an imbalance, and adds fuel, trying to restore balance.

I think when you connect nozzles larger volume, the balance of return to normal.

how to find volume injector? jets from D16Z6 staged at ACCORD 2.2)

Yes its true =) you can use both. you can use D16Y8 too. But it depends on wich head you want to use. D16Y8 dizzy doesnt fit D16Z6 head. But it can be adapted ! Congratulations for the good work Ilya !

Indeed D15 D16 dizzy diff is only the fitment to the head.

But if I understand correctly, can the D16Z6 dizzy be mounted on the top leg on the D14 head? I did not realise that.

Yes, I very carefully checked both DIZZY. they are the same. difference in the legs. I'll try to put both, but a month later. no ECU p28.

Dodo in the D14 head, i dont know, as i dont want to use it.
But it does fit in D16Y8 head, using D16Y8 shell on D16Z6 dizzy.
The contrary is also valid.
Cheers

Guys, I deceived you.

Repairing yesterday D16Z6 head, I decided to try DIZZY's.

I repeat - the internal parts, magnets, sensors, wires - the same.

but the body, opposite DIFFERENT! if you try on D15B7 DIZZY head D16Z6 then the legs, shorter. and a few other angles. quite a bit. but it is enough to understand that - D15B7 NOT SUITABLE!

D16Z6 + D16Z6 Dizzy = FIT
D16Z6 + D15B7 Dizzy = DON't FIT

D14Ax (Zx) +D15B7 Dizzy = FIT
D14Ax (Zx) +D16Z6 Dizzy = DON't FIT
