I have one question about conversion SFI to obd1.
It is 100% necessary to swap distributor from obd1 or obd2 car in order to work obd1 ecu?
Or we can keep SFI (d14a3/4, etc) distributor?

if you wait 5 days, you get an accurate answer. I want to make out and see what's inside.
now the answer is.
-the replacement our dizzy, does not fit into the other cylinder head (d16z6 105%).
-within our SFI dizzy no some sensors. that need to OBD1

100% necessary to swap dizzy.
Our D14 dizzy only has CKP and TDC sensors.
Normal OBD1 and OBD2 dizzies have CKP, TDC and CYL sensor.
CKP is ~20+ pulses per revolution of camshaft.
TDC is 4 pulses per revolution of camshaft.
CYL is just 1 pulse per revolution of camshaft.
On top of that, the signals have different origins and CKP signals may be different, though I have read articles that the ECU can mix those. Normal signals are magnetic field sensors, SFi uses LED breaking sensor.
All the above considers only the D14A3/A4 cars and maybe some other Ax varieties. In case of D14Z1/Z2 the dizzy is working like a normal dizzy and does not have to be swapped out. Even doubt the D14Z's have paired injectors... not sure anymore, once I knew.
