The P04 is the ECU of the D15B2 dual point injection as far as I know.
It's pretty useless I think. You cannot use it for the usual multipoint (P06,P28 etc.) setups

Check my OBD0 pinout page, they are all there. Actually the P04 is really really different from P06 etc. despite the similar numbers. The P04 is actually a slightly altered PM5 which is used for the D15B2 in the 4th gen Civics. P04 is the 5th gen civic version. So it is totally OBD0 to me except for the way you read error codes, that is OBD1 style... (OBD0 is LED on the ECU, OBD1 and above is CEL light in the dash).
