Joris how long did it take to have these km? I know that you use the car too often.

I already have changed the valve gasket and the oil that this moment is in is 10w/40.
I fancy that in the past I used to put in engine 5w/40 oil and the consumption was less about 200-300ml every 2000km.
How can i test from where is the problem?

Is there white / blue smoke from the engine?
Does the car pass MOT emissions test?
Do you feel bumps in power when full throttle?

I think you can run a compression test to the engine to see if there is a leak through piston rods.

The compression test is a great idea!
Still oil consumption isn't always related to performance. I have seen civics going super fast with vast amount of oil consumption. Maybe this didn't come from the pistons though.

The power bumps come sometimes when the exhaust gas is present in huge amounts. I have it in my Vw Golf IV. But not always

In the years 2002 - 2007 I drove close to 250.000km total.

I mean 8000km in 3-4 months?

i've done 8000 kms in 3 months

Right now it should be cooled down till 10.000km a year... used to be 50.000.
