I'm at around 120.000km now and stil not a single drop of oil consumption.I never had to refill my oil level.I drive around 10.000km a year .Joris did you experienced extra oil consumption after you did the mini me on your D14 ?
That's the one big thing that worries me .If those cylinder sleeves are under a lot off stress they can turn oval when you take the head off.

On the contrary, right before the mini-me, which happened around 190.000 km, oil consumption was relatively high ~ 1 liter on 10.000 km. After the mini-me it halved at least and until recently I did not bother refilling.

I did not mill the head or anything, did not change seals... only thing I did was to make sure both heads were lifted very gently and the new head was mounted very gently.

I think the original head could have used some new seals and the Y8 head I put on it had accidentily good fresh seals.

Weird thing is that, as can be seen on my drag movies I posted a while ago, on high rpm you see a lot of blue smoke coming out. I tested it and it actually only seems to happen right at the top of the rpms, ~7800. There I see some fumes in my rearview mirror. Could be oil, could be rich mixture... de-tuned the car a little for MOT (OEM cams, previous ECU setting) and I did not see it anymore... so it might be nothing, or my car just started spilling some oil, though MOT exhaust test was fine (I pressume a lot of oil would fail exhaust test?)

MOT does not test for oil vapours (it should though, for environemental reasons). It just tests CO. But with oil consumption, if you get too much smoke it will definitly fail MOT. My Civic doesnt seem to use any oil at all after 110'000kms ... I am getting ready to collect parts for mini-me :) Just have to finish paying my Del Sol seats ( today :) ).
Cheers

now I'm faced with an issue at high REV > 5000 RPM I can see smoke in the mirror.
I recently made a small run at 200km at a speed of 120-130 km / h.

Once again I paused and stopped.

After I moved from place very agressive (just kick to floor pedal acselerator).

in 3km There was an error 22 (the problem with the pressure VTEC), after turning off the ignition the error went away. But later I saw that my dry lubricant probe. OIL was < MIN on probe, no oil on the probe.

Now think what the problem. Internal parts in cylinder head, I changed to new ones.

while I'm at low speeds <4500 then there is no problem with oil.

I use Castrol Magnetic 5w40 (but we say that this is not a good oil, it is advised MOBIL 1 S3000).

what's problem? oil rings? but without VTEC i haven't problem before.

i don't think it has to do with the type of oil you have been using. Were the valve seals in good shape? do you see oil leaking outside the engine?

valve seals - u mean this? it's new for inlet and exhaust.

no oil leaks outside - engine clean. oil again < MIN.

later i will upload my video with problem.
