Thank you ! To save the search 3.6L is the oil capacity with filter for our D14s.
Some say that we should add some oil ABOVE the max mark to prevent the oil pump to "dry" in tight corners - common reason for B series engines to be irreversibly damaged. (Someone know if our crankcase has already a metal sheet in the deepest part to prevent all oil to leave the oil pump in corners?)
Some also say that level should be BELOW the max mark, due to extreme oil pressure at high RPMs.
This discussion means a lot to me... It worries and divides me.

The oil capacity of d14s is 3.3liters with oil filter otherwise 3liters without oil filter.
And for total rebuild of engine requires 4 liters of oil.
