D14A4 turbo obd1 distibutor problem

hi.

i build d14a4 turbo and i have problem with the obd1 distibutor....
when i line up the distributor house holes with the head the engine wont start but..... when i retard it too much the engine start but the distributor house holes is far from the head holes.

p28 ecu
td-41u distibutor
96-98 d16y8 loom convert to obd1 distibutor.

i think you installed the distributor wrong by 180 degrees...

My reply is later than late, but for anyone reading... the crank timing might be off (crankshaft not being aligned with its own pulley). This happens when somebody puts on the pulley and forgets or drops the wood-ruff key. I have had this... cam looked two teeth off (though it wasn't since it later turned out the crank pulley not being aligned) and when I put the cam to "0 teeth off" it would not run.
