that black sensor is the IAT sensor, which is meant to go into your manifold. It might be on the side of the 4th runner, or at the back of your manifold, look for it.

if you didn't get one with the manifold, then buy one. Would also mean you have a hole where it used to be and that would be your leak

The plug you have wont readily fit, you'll have to find your own way to attach it, (i cut my wires and soldered them onto it, but that isn't really the best fix)

if thats a d16y8 manifold then i dont think you have a spot for the sensor, you'd have to make a hole for it in your intake tube

i dont think this is whats causing your idle problem though, i was thinking you had a blank hole where the sensor is placed causing a leak but i guess not

If you put the throttle body like shown in the photo then you will have problem.
The throttle body's pulley must be in the opposite side. And also you must have the proper gasket for this throttle body.
It must be install like this

hey , yeah i got it all set up like that and i think it must be the gastket that is the problem and is sucking in a load of air , it is a gasket from a y8 engine, i am just gonna go and get a z6 intake looka lot more simple

Your throttle body is mounted the wrong way... at least in the picture.

I performed this IM swap today and the car drives great with much more torque etc. However, on idle it is around the 2,000rpm mark and when warmed it jumps between 1,000rpm and 2,000rpm as these videos show:

I think it's a vacuum leak but am having no look finding it. All the bolts are fully tightened to the block from the IM and a new gasket was fitted. Does anybody have any idea as to what may be the problem? I'm really lost as of now
