Well in my country its illegal not to have a catalytic converter if your car came with one from the factory. The car will flow better but it depends on wether you car about getting caught.

i already put back my race catalyst i made my one mid box instead of factory one and i have 54mm down pipe with toyo exhaut headers ,it runs great

guys do you reckon whether the ek9 catalyst is better to the other ek civic cats?

I think I got one laying around and it is actually a lot shorter, 32 cm in total... the catalyc material is a lot shorter in that compared to a 42 cm cat of the EJ9.

How are you going to make that fit a regular 2" exit from a D-series header?
Need to replace the flange cause it's huge and 2.5"

hey guys a quick question about decats....
I know odb2b cars will throw an error code if you decat(because of the sensor in the cat)-But mine is obd1 now, so am i right in saying if i fit a decat it wont throw an error code?il just need to bung the hole in the decat pipe?

Bin wanting to decat for ages, now the dc2 (quiet) backbox is fitted im not worried about too much noise! :lol:
