Indeed P2Y is Y8 /EK3 head , Y7 is P2A ;)

Why does D14A2/D16Z6 head produce more power than a full D16Z6 engine?

Your answer was documented through pictures!

D16Z6 piston. P28:

D14A2 piston.

Huge difference!

wow. Which other honda engine used to have this kind of piston?

I guess none. D15B2/7 uses higher dome than D16Z6, but still not higher than piston borders, its "flat" so to speak.

A better piston than the ones I got are PM7 from D16A9, are the ones with the highest dome OEM!

I'm getting more condifendt I will reach 140hp with ECU tune now!

EDIT: D14A1 pistons are equal to D14A2.

Maybe they had exchanges with rover pistons?

Come you MB Rover guys  :D :D :D

Actually maybe some parts are intrechangeable with Rovers due to their manufacturing in England and the collaboration with Rover. I have this impression with the gearboxes as well.

Correct the late d14 engines had some good Dome pistons in them ,but they also have a different head then a D16z6 and valves are in a different angle , and valves are wayy smaller the the Z6 ones. That's why you're making more hp...You gotta watch out valves don't hit the pistons with these engines .Increased compression bumps up the torque ,not so much on the Hp.

Ah, I see.

Nop, you can use Rover 216 GTi/Coupe (Tomcat) pistons, as the engine is D16A9 as Concerto/CRX one.

Gearboxes are different, Rovers using Honda engine have mechanical clutch, instead of hydraulic ones. And K and L Series Rover, have very different gearboxes, they don't fit into our engines.

:P
