Crower sells D13 rods and they are the same rods the D14 uses ;)

Are they of good quality or like their cams that tend to crack :roll: :roll:

they are for 1.3cc honda engines but not d13 as far as i can tell.
You can always customise rods but i'll be more expensive.

Thing I doubt now is P.E. and B.E. thickness numbers.
B.E. I believe will be okay.

But P.E. thickness is different from D16 rods (see same chart). Difference is just 0.710 versus 0.716 inch but still I doubt is this bad? Since I am looking for D16 pistons... is this play important... or is it even disastrous? Does it fit snuggly or is it a loose fit? Diff is 0.15 mm.

You're right Joris i didn't even noticed that they have a little difference.If you would use D16 pistons your piston pin has less play .You could always get 0.075mm from both size of the piston off.You'll need to check how much play aftermarket d16 pistons have or oem pistons.I think Arias pistons for a d16y8 would be great ,except that they have a Compression height of 29.3 and sit 0.2mm below deck.
Crower makes absolute great rods the crower Maxi Lights are very light and strong and would be perfect for a build D14 N/A engine.

I might be wrong but as I know Suzuki Vitara pistons give good results in d16
f.ex.

You can find some porject with this setup on youtube, most of them are turbo

Demolik, that is because Suzuki Vitara pistons, being 75mm wide are compatible with D Series STD engines, but they lower CR values to just slightly higher than 8:1.

I think they have them as a cheap and strong alternative for turbo set ups right?
