d14a2 one engine 2 piston codes?

hi I was just hoping for some advice.
I currently have an a2 and I was reading a post on here about what piston's are in it and saw they were pm2 but when a mate of mite broke his engine I had a look at the piston an here in the uk they are p1j's.
so I was just wondering if they are the same piston but just with different codes due to different countries?
