ek9/dc2 non airbag steering wheel

Post by saxophonias »

i am going to be given a dc2 1996 steering w/o airbag to swap it my ej9 w/o airbag too. The thing is that i have read that it won't fit due to difference in splines. Actually any dc/eg won't fit an ek one, while on ek you can swap newer steering wheels from s2k ep3 etc. Are you aware of any ways to make it fit without having to change the whole steering column? This steering is sweet, smaller and thicker.

I'm taking a wild shot in the dark but maybe you could get something like the NRG quick release hub and adaptor that may have bolt patterns to fit this wheel and other after market wheels for the Civic.

I was looking into getting one for security reasons and plus they look hella stylish.
