Nope, still original clutch. Got it burned in 2009 during 11 succesive 400 meter sprints on R888, but it never lost its grip up till today...

Tranny is 100%, all synchros still ok, high rev shifting never an issue, not more than normal. It only has a few percent change of missshifting when I shift from 7000-8000 rpm especially 1st to 2nd gear. I think this is simply due to the construction of the tranny... problem exists for years and does not degrade. Allso, I need to take care when tranny is cold, then it just needs to be handled a little gentler.

An as for bearings, none of them are noisy at all.

And to be honest I have 10W40 in it since 120.000 km. Changed it at 240.000 to a premium brand 10W40 and planning on doing the same at 360.000. So no MTF, but then again, I don;t have LSD so I don't mind that much... my B16B will NOT get 10W40 since I heard that can be bad for the diff...

98 D14a4 126.000km and it only uses gasoline
Quote from Endyn:"The combustion chamber is a better shape than the DOHC.So don't chunk those 1.6 SOHC engines, they can make really good power. For a pure performance application, regardless of application, I'd choose the SOHC. No bull!"

in Russia a lot of jokes about the "old" machines. I have run 146,000. (there were 120,000 2 years ago). Everyone says that the range "a twisted back, and you did it too rolled back"))) say that is not real.
current mileage for cars in 1998 is 200,000

Update : My 1.4iS from 1997 just made 150'000kms.
It has been consuming 1L of oil each 10'000kms.
Guess it results from the bad treatment i've gave it around the 100'000kms mark when i bought it. Piston rings should be ovalized
Now, just want to do a regular maintenance because a new phase has started ;) ... and the Ej9 will rise up again :D

The oil consumption is not too much.
