I thought D14 chambers in the head was the same as D16Z6... perhaps inner runner diameter as well?

D14 and y7 heads are the same ,same casting numbers same volumes.Only difference is the cam.Which i looked up yesterday the oem part nr. of the D14a4 cam and the D16y7 are different. So the cams arent the same unlike somebody else on here stated they where by vissual comparison. Those cam specs from the D14a4 cam are from my OEM D14a4 cam that Bisimoto measured before he regrinded it.So they are correct afaik.
Quote from Endyn:"The combustion chamber is a better shape than the DOHC.So don't chunk those 1.6 SOHC engines, they can make really good power. For a pure performance application, regardless of application, I'd choose the SOHC. No bull!"

Tomorrow is a big day. In the morning will measure all the head. in the noon will modulate great part of the engine and remove some errors.

This is really great work Law!!!
1996 EJ9 Civic
1998 BB8 Prelude Motegi VTi
1998, B16A2 EK4 Civic VTi

Aims:
EJ9 - Now my GF's car.
BB8 - Rebuild after crash damage to front end.
EK4 - Daily driver. Strip and track prep once prelude project complete

Sorry for not giving any news for so long... im doing the researh needed for finishing this project. until there, the head surface volume was already calculated on solid works. approximated model of D14a4 stock has already 103hp, but camshaft values, and boundary conditions are not ajusted. Talked to Bisimoto to understand what is what, cause i'm not being able to do the valve motion graph based on this :

0.296" Intake lift, adv dur 224, at 0.040" 196
0.290 Exh lift, adv dur 226, at 0.040" 192

Anyone can help me with that?
I will left you guys with my measures and the ones missing (if you guys could measure some as piston mass and rod mass) and some pics x)
