Bore is diameter of the cylinder.

Height is the deck height, which allows (or does not) for a certain stroke.
That is covered by the crank.

Interesting But iam so lost and I cant wait to know whats wrong with my car.

Just to clarify so we can understand what you mean better; Bore is the diameter of the cylinders, Stroke is the vertical distance travelled by the piston from BDC to TDC.
Bore^2 * Stroke = Swept Volume,
Swept Volume + Clearance Volume = Total Displacement.
Total Displacement / Clearance Volume = Compression Ratio.

Deck height, as far as I am aware, is the distance between the top of the block (the deck) to the position the piston is at at TDC. This is normally small (measured in milimieters) or 0.

Correction: The deck clearance is what I mentioned above, although I think the terminology is often confused.

So what you want is to increase displacement by increasing bore, or stroke right? Simplest way would be to get a bigger displacement block (d15, D16 etc) and fit it on your D14 head, although there would be little point in that unless you had made your D14 head special. Might aswell just take the whole D16 =P

well i have a d15b7 re-built engine

I want 2increase the deck height - or in other words i just want a bigger bore cylinder block to fit it in my car.

Deeper bore is inversely proportional to speed - so more speed limit basically.
dodo's spoke 2me about the d16/d17 having the heigher deck or in other means their deck height is bigger than a d15b7..!!

So iam searching the topic and the market to see if its possible lets say for example to put the d17a2 block the whole block by-itself instead of the d15b7.

ThE head is a sure special one owen "A 1989 dx honda accord throttle carburetor" mounted on the stock intake
of the d15b7.

Well, hold back on the D17 engine. It might be the biggest capacity, but I believe also one of the weakest (due to it's long stroke?).

You might consider getting oversized pistons at one stage, increasing bore from 75 to what's possible, 77, 78? But at the stage your car is, I think other options are much more feasible.
