D15Z4

Post by sktaroins »

Hi guys,

I Still cant post pictures with my phone 16mega pixel camera :)
But will get another one soon. Sorry if no pics now!

My Friends car belongs to MuFathaL and we work 2gether @ a small garage.
Below are the specs and we wanted to know how much power we could get
Out of it by doing some mods - please advice the cost too :)

Current stock specs:-
HM
D15Z4 - ENGINE
E40-2006000 - Gear Code
P2A-9 - HEAD Code
P2E - ECU
1999 - Model
LXI - EK3 - TYPE
NON VTEC

WHAT TYPE of brands or best to get for below future mods:-
1- clutch & pressure plate with release & pilot bearing.
2- good ignition system
3- injectors
4- racing fuel pump
5- intake system

We are interested to buy from this forum
Note we also are interested in buying some good seats and bbs rims too.

THANKS TO ALL

Funny, EK3 chassis code with non-VTEC engine. Learned something again. Any idea about the current performance? I would suggest getting it VTEC and a nice exhaust. Air intake might also benefit. I'd go coldair in your region perhaps.

Ignition system, your Honda is good enough if not the best. Unless you want to do extreme things (high rpm, high boost), I don;t see a reason to get it upgraded. Fuel pump same story.

Clutch might not hurt to improve uppon. Btw sure about gearbox code? Is it E40 and not S40?

If you want to buy stuff I realise, DU is a bad place, hardly any sellers, but... some of the larger Dutch stores ship internationally. For the tuning stuff try http://www.showoffimports.nl .... I am pretty sure they ship abroad. http://www.fullcartuning.nl might as well, not sure. But for replacement parts (Honda only!) go to http://www.akr-performance.nl/ . You might love the last one. If you do get shipments from one of those stores of there, let me know.

We have pleanty of those in SA

make about 78 kW at 5,800 rpm 136 odd NM
Came with that faceing up TB intake manifold and really poor exhaust manifold

S40 came on our local D16y9s. My buddy has a z4 I will check his box.
