D14 aftermarket cam issues?

I need help concerning a cam stg 1 of bl0x... you see I have a Y8 head on a d14a4 and wanted to know if there is any way that the cam can ruin the valves by making them touch the pistons...
I have heard its quite possobile.. currently my 0 point on the aem cam gear is 4 degrees A.. I can further reach it by going all the way to 10.. question is if there is any chance that the valves may touch the piston and harm each other?
