Dutch dyno-meet/workshop.

Post by Dodo Bizar »

I announced it somewere else, but forgot... anyway, for the people located in the Netherlands, on Honda-Fanatics (Dutch oriented forum I try to run couple of years now), I want to organise a dyno meet.

Its not going so well so hopefully I can get some interest from this corner of the net for it. It is about not only making a run once, but we try to send everybody home with more hp than with what they come in.

Check for details etc. this link (needs subscription and is in Dutch!)
http://www.honda-fanatics.nl/forum/view ... 13&t=17083

Location is Geldermalsen in NL, quite central.
Hopefully we can make the meeting work this way.

Thanks for including us in Joris! Hope the Dutch people from here will be there! What exactly are you planning? Some tuning on the dyno?

Depending on possibilities, I want a small club of people. Actually thinking 6-8 to fill 6 hours of dyno. Seems I can get 6 now. Each setup can be tuned, cam timing, ignition timing, mayby FPR timing, but if possible (this is still uncertain) we can even put in eCtune for OBD1 people.

So, getting more hp, but also learning from each other setups and having a good time is what the plans are. And it doesn't matter what you bring, most cars will be B-series, but even a stock D13 would be welcome if he wants a spin. I plan to tune the B16B that day as a demo to start with, hopefully by adjusting the ECU. If something comes in between I pick the D14A3 and have it re-mapped... at best I get the 145 bhp again, but changes are I will have lost some due to tear and wear.

Mmmmh, how is the dyno? Good measurements? I dont got much to tune i think, so only a run would be enough for me.

Closing the dyno-day line-up currently. Think I got my 6 hours of testing time filled! Thnx guys, see you the 28th of november. As you'll know further information will be transferred using HF.

Probably in beginning 2010 there can be a repeat day.
