So what does really do a IM swap with D16z6?
What problem can happen with the air/fuel ratio?
I mean, it will increase consommation i think, but any risk for the motor?

This problem happens when there's the D14 TB or the D16 TB?

A/F ratio can be high like mine, due to the Fuel Pressure Regulator (FPR) of the D16Z6 IM. This will not harm the motor. You will keep the D14 TB.

So the only problem is a higher fuel consommation.
This problem can be solved with a VAFC (vtec air fuel controler)?

Fuel consumption is not such a problem, when using part throttle your lambda sensor will correct for it. Mixture will only be rich when flooring the throttle, and in that case the rich mixture is much safer compared to a VAFC. These piggy-backers fool the map sensor letting the ECU believe air pressure is different, resulting in bad ignition timing.

Either leave the rich mixture, mount an adjustable fpr to adjust fuel pressure or convert to OBD1 and have an ECU chip tailormade for your car. But please don't go VAFC, that so 2000-ish :mrgreen: , and comes with some danger.

Okay, i was thinking about swap my IM and let ecu stock, but it will not be okay.
I think if i do this swap, i'll contact someone to make me a basemap on a OBD1 ecu, and swap OBD2a ----> OBD1^^
I havn't money to spend for a dyno, and there's no dyno near where i live :)

You dont really need to worry about OBD1 map if your just changing your IM man. The lambda sensor will correct under normal driving as dodo said :D
