DOHC or VTEC?

what better for D-series, SOHC V-TEC or DOHC non-VTEC?
becose i dont know no one engine d-series and DOHC and VTEC.
what do u think about potential both cyl.heads?

example :

D16A8
and
D16Z6 (y8 or similar)

some one talk:
"DOHC best for low RPM, but u can start up with VTEC on high RPM"

ps. i dont know about engine 7gen, D17 (2002) fit to oldest block?

With DOHC engine the camshafts adjustment is more.
You can play more with different settings.
Unfortunately there is no D-series engine with DOHC and vtec at the same time

yeap u see all dohh engines of honda are like 1.6 with 160 hp 1.8 with 183 ps 2.0 with 200 ps 2.4 with 230ps all DOHC and vtec
sohc got less ps like ours my father got a d16w7 ,and it is Vtec and the torque is so beautiful

hmmm... powerfull engine in D series it d15b (3 stage) or D16A8\9 (DOHC)

about 130 HP...

i know some man how put D15B to D14 block. but i dont know any body who put DOHC on D14 ) it realy intresting

well if u r willing to do all these stuff just put a vti engine and u r done xD
cz efvery time u put something on the car , after u r done , it still wont be enough
